Hi everyone,
due to the fact that SAP Customer Checkout needs Oracle Java SE 8, I have questions about the licensing in 2019.
As I understood, Java SE 8 will not longer be free for commercial use. Is this correct?
Does the new licensing has an impact on SAP Partners that sell and implement SAP Customer Checkout or on our customers that need to install Java SE 8 to run SAP Customer Checkout?
Thanks in advance!

Hello Alexander,
This is correct that SAP Customer Checkout requires Java.
Regarding the terms and conditions of usage of Java SE 8, you need to check it in providers website. I cannot comment on that.
However apart from Java SE 8, we also support SAP JVM for SAP Customer Checkout.
The whole topic is explained in the below blog from me. Hope it helps.
