Open JDK not working in Hybris

Hello Experts,

i have installed Open JDk and removed oracle jdk due to my company norms. But open jdk does not support Hybris in 1808 or any version. i am getting below message while running ant clean all. Environment check failed: You are using a not supported version of Java. Please make sure you are using Java version 1.7 or later. Your current Java version is: 11.0.1 TIP: If you are using ee you can configure a different JVM under Preferences->Java->Installed JREs.

I have tried though ee also but it did throw same error.

need some suggestion to overcome this issue.

For Hybris v1808, the supported Java versions are only Oracle JRE / JDK 8.0 and SAP JVM 8.1. Please check https://help.hybris.com/1808/hcd/8c71300f866910149b40c88dfc0de431.html

It's officially not supported which means that if you try OpenJDK with v1808 and it works with some workaround, SAP will not provide you with any kind of support to fix an issue that may arise due to OpenJDK.

Thanks.. i am using SAP VM now and its working. good thing is its ready to use software which require no installation .
