I have two questions regarding offers:

1) is it possible to get offers or offer recommendations in the contact profile fact sheet?

2) what happens with an email content, if it is sent with an offer information, but receiver is not eligible for the campaign? offer block is hidden? what if offer block is only email content?

Hi Maris Sauka,

1) Unfortunately, offers cannot be loaded into the contact profile fact sheet. If you would like, please feel free to request this functionality in the Customer Influence Tool.

2) The answer to this question depends on how you assign target groups and build your email. When building an email for a campaign, you can choose to add an offer block or an offer recommendation block in the email.

a. If you choose to add an offer block to an email, then you will only be able to assign offers which do not have any target groups assigned. This means that everyone is eligible for the offer. Therefore, anyone receiving the offer will be able to view and use it.

b. In order to use offers with assigned target groups (offer is only eligible for specific contacts) in emails, you must use an offer recommendation block, in which you can assign a scenario. It is then up to the recommendation service to find offers that the contact is eligible for. If the recommendation service returns no offers, then this block is not rendered in the email. If your email contains only this block, then you can choose the option “No email without a valid offer.” This will prevent the email from being sent if the contact is not eligible for the offer.

I'll do my best to answer your questions:

1) I guess you're integrated with commerce. If that's the case, you can see interactions of your customers with your offers in interactions tab of interaction contact factsheet as part of clickstream data:

- OFFER_CLICK = Offer click through

- OFFER_DISPLAY = Offer display

- OFFER_REDEMPTION = Offer redemption

Also, if you are integrated with commerce, you can see offer recommendations in commerce tab of interaction contact factsheet as part of commerce integration:

- Factsheet Recommendations - Browsing Favorites

- Factsheet Recommendations - Buying History

2) I'm not sure about this one, however validation should be done when customers try to interact with offers. This means that your offer is displayed in e-mail content (unless you set some conditions) however customer cannot reach or redeem the offer after they click on it due to some reasons of which you listed above.

I don't want to see offer related interactions, I want to see offer recommendations, you know. Are you sure about the commerce tab that offer recommendations will be shown there? From the placeholder it seems that only:

Recommendations based on Buying History

Recommendations based on Browsing Favorites

Browsing Favorites

Buying History

are expected to show in that tab.

Recommendation based on buying history corresponds to "Factsheet Recommendations - Buying History" in my reply.

Recommendations based on Browsing Favorites corresponds to "Factsheet Recommendations - Browsing Favorites" in my reply.

Above two type of recommendations are supposed to show up in Commerce tab.

If you want to see the offer recommendations aside from mentioned two above (and not interactions) as per my knowledge it's not possible today.
