Offer QR Code

Hi,

When adding an "Offer" block into an e-mail in Content Studio, you can add attributes related to the Offer.

One of the attribute categories and items is:

Offer Coupon Data
  • Barcode Image URL
  • Coupon Code
  • Coupon Name
  • Validity End

However a coupon also has a QR Code Image url available.

But how co I make that attribute available for the email personalization?

I can't seem to find it in the Segmentation Profile, it's like the Offer block in Content Studio uses something else than the Segmentation Profile?

Hi Joyca,

For Contact attributes it is definitely not possible currently to define an additional attribute as always visible. But for attributes from "Segmentation objects" you can use the "Export" flag in the app Segmentation Configuration to make an attribute by default visible.

For more requirements I would like to refer to the influence request https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/idea/212253, where you have already voted for. Or please feel free to create a new one. For a new one please provide a very detailed description what you want to do and why.

Kind regards,

Silvia

Hi Silvia,

It's not a "Contact" attribute, but an "Offer/Coupon" attribute, but it seems like it behaves the same way as the Contact attributes because it does not come from segmentation, but directly from the "block type" it seems.

I'ts very confusing that so important personalization fields like the QR Code image url is not made visible in standard with no way to make it default visible...

Only one more comment regarding the influence request "Possibility to blend out "contact"-list in personalization attribut list in content studio", the idea would be to have an "Attribute configuration" at all.

OK so I found out that in the Content Studio you can go tho the Settings/gears button on the Insert Attribute list, and the QR Code Image URL is then there as a hidden attribute.

However I'm still looking for a setting that can make this attribute by default visible for every user, otherwise we need to educate everyone to go into the settings to make this attribute visible, which isn't too user-friendly.
