Notification workflow for Opportunity Attachments

Hello

Is there a way of sending a notification when an attachment (under the attachement tab) is added to an Opportunity?

We have Opportunities where the sales team upload attachments that go to the customer - these attachments are created outside of C4C (such as a client's BOM).

As far as I know, this isn't possible via config. Possibly achievable through sdk.

This requirement is not posible without SDK.

Nevertheless, you can make a workaround that might help you with this request.

You can create a field in 'Opportunity' Header:

And create a Workflow Rule in which every time this field changes from 'No' to 'Yes', a Notification is sent.

This approach requires the person adding the Attachment in the Opportunity to have the further step of changing the newly created field 'Attachment File' from 'No' to 'Yes.
