Not able to add fields in custom KUT section

Dear all,

I want to add extension fields ( KUT ) in a separate section for my Items in opportunity. I am pretty sure that its possible 😉 Since long back i did that!

Somehow this time whenever I create new Section , i am not able to add fields.

Am I missing some anchor setting or something? Kindly suggest.

Hi saluste.liivi Ideally yes but thats exactly where i am struggling. that i am not able to add drop the fields to the new KUT section created under Item. Can u send me the screenshot of the thing?

Hi Dhruvin,

Try to add the new extension fields in Overview of the opportunity, then drag and drop those fields to the section.

Hi dhruv.mehta, I added a new extension field to the details facet, after that I was able to drag and drop the field to the new section.

Hi Dhruvin

When you hover over your new section, instead of the Product Facet, you should get the same popup to add fields to it.

If the section (ec) has been added in the Cloud Application Studio then you need to enable it to be enhanced by KUT.

Ofcourse I did that 🙂 I did hover over the newly created section from KUT ( not from PDI ) there are no fields to be added neither I am able to create new one.

This section is not added by PDI I created it from KUT. Technically there should be coreBOName and coreBONodeName Properties filled if you go to debug mode but in this case those properties are not there , i suspect that is the issue but I am not able to find the root cause.

Hi Dhruvin

If there are no fields showing then it is because the section you added and the fields you are looking to add are not linked (need to be part of the same anchor). Can you try and add the section somewhere else on that screen, maybe closer to the products table. There are many anchors that you can place a new section on and maybe its not bound to the product table.
