Need to add total number of item in CCO

Good day we have a requirement form our customer in CCO they want to add total number of item in Sales Screen in Retail UI. next to the discount box.

You will need a plugin to manage this. I am not aware of any plugins that currently do this, but maybe rzieschang knows of one? If not, you can go through the sample code for plugins and do it yourself.

I would suggest, though, that you focus on the new UI, since the UI you are currently using is already deprecated, will not receive any new features and eventually even disappear from the product altogether. In the new UI, the total item count is already visible:
