Need help understanding features per patch release

Dear SAP,

We are trying to understand how to get a comprehensive list of features that are included in each patch release of hybris DIGITS.  We are aware of the continuous innovation model.  We have been referencing this link to track each feature

However, it has come to our attention that this might not be all the features per patch.  We have recently learned of this link which is a What's New list for each releate.

I notice that the Whats New list contains many more features and changes per patch than the initial link above which seems to be only for features that have rollout phases.

So I'm trying to understand it.  Is it that the Whats New link shows all the new functionality for the patch release and only some of them will rollout in the phased approach?  What determines if a feature will just be part of a release or if it will be managed in a rolled out phase approach?  Please help me understand this clearly.  We are tasked with highlighted features in each patch release that our business users might find interesting or useful.  At the moment I feel that I need to use both of these links to get a full picture.  Is this the right approach or is there a better way to summarize and understand a patch release?

Thanks

Hello!

Let me explain the difference between them:

Feature Rollout Phases
Starting with the 2211.4 release, new features are mostly backwards compatible, but some might change how your system works. These features are initially turned off to help ensure a smooth upgrade. In the future, they will be turned on by default and eventually become standard. It's a good idea to test and implement these features before they're automatically activated. This approach allows you to try out new features at your own pace and upgrade your systems with less risk.

So, taking as an example the first feature: "Configurable products: display discount messages and savings with rules," is deactivated by default in version 2211.4, but activated in 2211.12 (here you can choose to deactivate it or not), however this feature will be available out-of-the box in version 2211.20.

Now, If you go through the SAP link of the features per patch, in this same version 2211.20: Features Available in New Rollout Phases, the Display Discount Messages and Savings with Rules will de delivered by default.

The SAP link with the features per patch has the specific information like maintenance improvements, such as bug fixes, and new functionality.

Best regards,
Sabrina
