Multiple promotions on a single product

Can we have two level multiple promotions active at at a time. example. 50% discount on product. & $20 off on total cart exceeds $100. if so how the strategy works.

Hi,

it as well depends how you configure the rule groups. If you have different rule groups, you can apply multiple promotions on a product. Or if you in your actions have both cart discount and product discount you can have multiple promotions

It depends on the promotion type :

As per your example, yes we can apply both promotions on the same product because:

1. 50% discount on the product is a product level (or entry level) promotion will be applied on total product value.

2. 20$ discount on total cart discount is cart(or order level) promotion and it will be applied on cart if cart total value qualifies for promotion even with single product.

As per the OOTB functionality, We cannot apply two product level promotions together on the same product. but we can apply product level and cart level promotion together. if you want to apply two product level promotions on the same product you can customize it you can write your own conditions and actions to achieve it.

you can not apply two promotion on the same product without any customization after 6.7.
