Hello Experts,
anderson.schmitt gunther.sandtner2
Is there any way to edit the privileges of Checkout Monitor runtime user?
We need a user to view all receipts only (i.e. released and inconsistent); can't edit, cancel or re-release any receipts.
BR,
Mohamed

Hello Mohamed,
Unfortunately regarding the possibility of read-only users in the Monitor, to my knowledge it is not currently possible.
About the links provided by Kellieanne:
Also, kfrick, the tables from that previous functionality are still in the CCO Monitor database, but the options were removed from the User Interface some time ago. I believe it was around 2.0 FP 06. bikash.bansal should be able to tell you exactly when this was discontinued if you are interested. The only thing I know for sure is that it's gone. 🙂
By the way, I agree that a read-only user for the monitor would be useful, but if a decision has to be made between dedicating significant resources to this or to migrate the whole integration with B1 towards CCOM, I vote for the latter.
Also, the online help links provided by Kellieanne clearly refer to 2.0 FP11, and with the functionality removed some time ago, maybe elena.vavitsa can look at getting that documentation corrected to avoid confusion?
Hope this helps...
Best regards,
Joerg.

One more question re CCO Monitor joerg.ceo
Currently, all runtime users see all receipts for all systems/databases; even if we assign a specific user to a specific system.
In older CCO versions (i.e. FP09), each user can only see the receipts of the system assign to it, now the case differs.
We usually assign different runtime user for test systems than production systems.
Q: is there any way we can configure this?
Mohamed
Hello msattar ,
I am not sure if in previous versions this was working. But I can confirm it still works if the Monitor is installed in a Cloud environment. If you feel this has stopped working in on-premise environments then you should raise a support incident so CCO Support can have a look at it.
Hope this helps,
Joerg.

Hello kellieanne.mckeon
Please check "1. Open the Users tab in the SAP Customer Checkout configuration or in the SAP Customer Checkout Monitor." in the documentation of your third link. There is no Usertab in SAP Customer Checkout Monitor - so maybe an error in documentation or in current B1if Customer Checkout Scenarios?
However within the customercheckout database I do see tables like Permission, PermissionParameter and Role. And within the B1if Scenario CustomerCheckoutUI there are also Steps like GetUser, CreateUser, etc. Maybe you can give us a hint, what these are for and how to use them?
Best Regards
Klaus
