MindTouch Integration with SAP C4C

Hi All.

I am working on integrating MindTouch with SAP C4C. I followed the below process:

1) I configured a HTML Mashup and included the code suggested in the SAP blog: https://blogs.sap.com/2017/05/24/c4c-and-mindtouch-integration-link-to-case/

2) I embedded the Mashup in ticket Overview screen.

3) If the MindTouch site URL in the HTML code is "https://success.mindtouch.com", the results are properly retrieved but when I changed the URL to my client's MindTouch application, I am not able to view the desired results.

At this juncture, I need support in two aspects from the SAP experts:

How do I view the search results from my client's MindTouch application in ticket Overview?

The document uploading procedure in MindTouch I followed is right or not.

Since this is the first time I am configuring this integration, a screen sharing session to clarify the queries from any of you would be deeply appreciated.

Hello Vishwas

We ourselves are attempting to integrate Mindtouch with C4S. We were provided some source code for the Mindtouch mashup, but one thing it lacked was the ability to select a Mindtouch article within C4S and connect it to the ticket i.e. associate it.

We have struggled to get any effective response from SAP or Mindtouch on the issue even though we were presented demo's where this was possible.

Any thoughts or any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sandeep.

The link you provided explains the configuration of Data Mashup for MindTouch integration. I explored the same and could not achieve all the steps. I hence raised an incident for the same. SAP support also confirmed that they are not able to do it from their side and development team is working on it.

My query was to configure HTML Mashup for MindTouch integration. I checked with my developer internally and he has concluded that the search query is being passed to MindTouch website from SAP C4C but the MindTouch website is not sending the search results back to SAP C4C.

I have been working for long time on this integration and could not complete it. I request expert opinion who has already configured this integration. As already requested, a screen sharing session to guide on the same would be deeply appreciated.
