Hi All,

We have received reports that Microsoft KB4480965 is causing problems for CDT. Investigation is currently ongoing. Recommendation is to test the functionality before implementing the KBA to production.

Hey,

Finally got my Windows 7 client to co-operate. The KB4480965 is only for Win7 machines and similar issues are not reported with Win10. Please correct if I'm wrong.

So, now I have the KB4480965 installed - IE reports to be version 11.0.9600.19236 and CDT launches fine. Could you please confirm if you have the same IE version?

If yes, then I recommend to reset IE settings, set them again and see what happens.

Hi All,

The above patch is installed in Open Text server(windows server 2008 R2.in my current landscape.

kindly guide me whether do we need to remove this update from Open Text server.

what CDT - kindly help me what is CDT.

Hello Mike,

SAP is aware of your situation and is currently doing a root cause analysis to find out what is causing this.

SAP's recommendation is not to install Microsoft KB4480965 until there is resolution for the issue.
