Mergin after creating a new ID Origin - SAP Marketing Cloud

Hi Experts,

we have a big problem.

We have linked the SAP Marketing Cloud to Commerce. The contact was first transferred to the marketing cloud with the standard ID Origin SAP_COMMERCE_CONSUMER. With the creation of another marketing area, we also created a new ID Origin for synchronization with the shop.

Now we have a big merge problem. Of the approximately 20T contacts, only about 700 were merged. See screenshot.

Everything worked well here. But how I said, just for this less contacts. Doublets were created for the remaining contacts. Merging via the Unique Identifier didn't work. We suspect that the contact level plays a decisive role, but we can't get any further at this point.

Dear Christiane,

This is happening due to Origin ID Priority and configurations.

Please follow the SAP help documentation on Match and Merge Contacts on Import.
