Material Download from SAP Retail to C4C via PI/PO

Hello everyone,

We are currently busy with C4C integration (using PI/PO middleware) for one of our customers who use SAP Retail ERP system.

As a start, we would like to do an initial material data download but we are having difficulty in generating the required IDOC.

I would like to trigger the MATMAS_CFS IDOC (as required by the standard SAP PI/PO mapping) but it does not seem to work.

Just to let you know, I have set up things in BD61, BD50, BD52, BD64, WE20.

Also, the COD* packages are available.

Distribution model (BD64) and Partner profile (WE20) settings look like this:

I can confirm that the materials are all available as required and change pointers have also been activated.

Since it's an SAP Retail system, by default, standard IDOC ARTMAS is selected in the BD10 screen.

In spite of the above settings I do not get any MATMAS_CFS IDOC generated - even when I choose to send materials in full (checkbox above "Artikel volledig verzenden").

Am I missing any settings here?

Has anyone experienced issues when sending out Material Master IDOC's from SAP Retail ERP to C4C (regardless of PI/PO or CPI/HCI)?

Hi,

There are several retail-specific checks in BD10/RBDSEMAT which will prevent the sending of MATMAS idocs for materials marked as retail type (MARA-ATTYP).

As SAP does not support sending out MATMAS or MATMAS_CFS for retail materials we implemented an enhancement to get around these checks.

If you have time, I would recommend raising an incident to SAP to get a "proper" solution.

Change pointers are then another matter as the standard retail system will not create MATMAS or MATMAS_CFS change pointers.

jrgen.lins Thanks a lot. I performed actions as described in the above OSS note. However, for some reason, I still cannot get the MATMAS_CFS IDOC's created through BD10.
