Marketing permission - Postal opt-in

Dear Experts,

Could you please help me how should I handle the marketing permissions for direct mails in SAP Marketing Cloud? I would like to upload opt-ins for postal addresses. In API_MKT_CONTACTS OData there is a field called HasMktgPermissionForDirectMail, but I do not see what is it for, because nothing happens when I upload it with value 'X'.

Please vote for this feature using the Customer Influence Tool:

Include Postal Opt In Permission with All Other Permissions

Good Evening,

We have similar requirements. We want to display the Postal communication medium on the Contact's permission tab.

• I have set up the outbound communication medium for Postal
• Created the Contact Origin
• Updated the Manage Interaction Content
• and Assigned the Contact origin to the Communication medium

When we create a contact it does not create a permission icon for postal (only email, phone, mobile, FB)

Is this functionality not available for Postal?
