Marketing Permission: indication of source (csv)

Dear,

I am using hybris marketing cloud.

I am trying to indicate the following information on my marketing permission:

WHERE the permission comes from in detail.

For example: I got the permission to email this person from a Survey with name Survey123.

I want to upload this information via csv.

In the csv template for Subscriptions there are only these columns:

CONTACT_ORIGIN

CONTACT_ID

ID_ORIGIN

ID

MKT_AREA_ID

MKT_PERM_COMM_MEDIUM

COMM_MEDIUM

TIMESTAMP

COMM_CAT_ID

OPT_IN

So no field in which I could add more info.

I tried creating a custom field on the context "Marketing: Permission" called YY1_TESTPermissionSour_MPM

However this field is not appearing in the template csv for Subscriptions from the Import Data application.

I tried adding the column manually, but the data in it seems to be discarded; I checked in the CDS view I_MKT_CONTACTSUBSCRIPTIONC were this custom field appears, but no data comes in.

Can anyone suggest how to achieve my requirement?

Which of my ideas are you refering to specifically?

Because I don't remember adding the above issue to SAP Influence;

It is a different issue than https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/idea/209795 for example.

Hi Kunal,

We are on SAP Hybris Marketing Cloud. I tried uploading Subscriptions data through upload format Subscriptions for the fields:

But I get consistently error saying that 'invalid value for Attribute - MKT_PERM_COMM_MEDIUM ' .

Hey Krish,

Please create an incident under CEC-MKT-DM-IC for us to check.

There was a change in 1805 wrt CONTACT_ORIGIN, CONTACT_ID & ID_ORIGIN, maybe we need to check the issue in your tenant.
