Marketing Permission and Subscription management

Hello Experts,

I have a basic query on marketing permissions and subscription management. I have a scenario like this:

if i am subscribed to newsletter and email opt in for general permissions. If i opt out for general marketing permissions then what will happened to Newsletter subscription? Will we get an email still for subscription?

Please note that the campaign is running without communication category into it.

What if the communication category is maintained in the campaign?

Is there a scenario that when we unsubscribe to general marketing permission then the subscription will also opt out?

Then we can again subscribe to newsletter to start getting the emails for that newsletter and the general marketing permissions is still opt out( email marketing permissions)

Ideally if i unsubscribe from permissions( email) then i shouldnt be receiving an email for subscription as well until i resubscribe for the specific newletter?

I have read somewhere the same in sap help document, can someone route me to that please?

Hi Mayank,

if you opt-out for the general permissions, the Newsletter subscription is also set to opt-out.

After that I seems like you can manually turn on the subscription again and the general permissions stays in "opt-out".
