Dear all,
We are working on an implementation where there are multiple marketing areas on Marketing Cloud mapping the company codes that are configured on the ERP. But when the campaign gets replicated to ERP as a project, it is replicated using a specific project profile (CUAN01) and therefore a single company code that is configured in the project profile.
The customer requirement is to map the marketing areas to determine the different company codes.
Has anyone came across a similar case/requirement? Can it be done through customization? should it be in the ERP or in the marketing itself?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Nada,
I've never had that requirement so I'm not sure if or how you can realize that scenario.
I've had a quick look at the iFlow and, as far I can see, by default there's no Mapping inside (so, nothing where you can easily say "Marketing Area A is XY in ERP" and so on). By default I think always the CUAN01 profile is used.
So I think you have to check, which data is going out of SMC and reaches CPI. Can you see if there's the Marketing Area delivered with the campaign information? If that's the case you can maybe think about adapting the iFlow according to your needs.
So, not sure if that is even possible but I think it would be the first step to see, which data reaches CPI and then check how it can be used for further processing.

Hello Nada,
Unfortunately this is not yet possible to influence the project profile nor the WBS element prefix in SAP Marketing Cloud.
May I suggest that you request this feature using our customer influence tool https://influence.sap.com/marketingcloud We take our customers' requests very seriously and we look into improving our software by evaluating the requests in this tool and the number of votes each of them get.
Best regards,
Marc

Hi nada.hamad. Since I'm not very familiar with the ERP integration, can you explain or reference documentation of the integration you're using? Communication arrangement in SAP Marketing could be helpful. Regards,
