Marketing Content Studio: Block size in e-mail template

Hi everybody,

when using the layout with two blocks, these blocks have the same size. Is there a possiblity to change this? In my case the customer want the image to be small and on the left size.

I tried to download the html and change it (the first table should use the first 2 columns and the text the other 10 columns).

I uploaded the html and create a new e-mail template. In the design and preview tab the position looks pretty good.

The problem is the layout of the e-mail in Outlook. Each block uses six columns and so it's very difficult to read the text under the title.

The e-mail in browser is looking fine, as in the preview.

Do you know what I missing? Or a way to change the size and position of the blocks?

Thanks and bye bye!

Giorgia

Hi,

It is tough to say what is wrong here because an email looks good in the preview as well as web browser version. Hence I would suspect it could be something linked to email client application (in this case it is Outlook)

Maybe you can try using a different email account like Gmail or Yahoo or GMX and then try to see the message in the browser or their respective applications. If all looks good then I would assume that it could be due to some outlook rendering issue and most likely there will be some fix available over the internet(as it is a quite widely used application for email) by the means of CSS/html-header which will be able to fix your issue.

Hi gbizzotto ,

Not sure if you noticed that if you select the row there is a dot which acts as a "slider". You can move this to adjust the widths of the columns. However, it is not very granular and seems the only options are 25%-75%, 33.3%-66.7%, 50%-50% (default), 66.7%-33.3% and 75%-25%.

No I didn't. That's not really solving my problem but a good thing to know. Thanks!
