Marketing Attribute Replication from SAP Sales Cloud to Emarsys

Hello Everyone,

We have a requirement that needs to replicate Marketing Attributes Assignment from SAP Sales Cloud to Emarsys.

We have more than 100 Marketing Attributes which have multiple choices. Because of the custom field limitation in Emarsys, it is not an option to manage by creating custom fields on contacts.

Is there any other way to get Marketing Attributes to Emarsys? Is Relational Data Service an option to solve this problem?

Hi Doğancan,

As you can't hold this data on custom Emarsys fields( because there are too many), the best option is to expose these to the Hana Cloud DB and you can connect it to the Emarsys. We have a similiar case that we can't hold some Account related information on Emarsys so we take it from S4 by connecting Hana DB to Emarsys with Relational Data so that we can use these information in the segmentations. And my other best suggestion is to open a Customer İnfluence ticket so that SAP can bring this replication run of the Marketing Attributes to the Account Engagement. This is how it happened in our case regarding the Marketing Permission opt-in/out sync between Emarsys and C4C.
