Marketing Area for Marketing Permissions via API_MKT_CONTACT_SRV

Hi Experts,

when I import Marketing permissions via OData-Service API_MKT_CONTACT_SRV

(POST to https://myxxxxxx-api.s4hana.ondemand.com/sap/opu/odata/SAP/API_MKT_CONTACT_SRV/MarketingPermissions) I can assign a Marketing Area to the Permission.

Payload example:

When I now call the service with a GET to have a look at the imported permission, the Marketing Area is not filled.

In the interactions tab of the contact, the Opt-In interaction is visible with the Marketing Area assigned.

Is that the expected behavior and why am I not able to see it in the MarketingArea field of the Permission when using the OData Service?

Would it be considered when I activate the marketing area for campaign executions?

Hope someone can clarify.

You need to activate the MA for Campaigns in that case.

now these MA are also visible in the Permissions-table... That's what I was searching for!
