Mark a Visit as Late - When Start date is overdue

Hi Community, I hope everyone is safe.

I like to show all the visits that were started late, maybe using a parameter to define what is "late". As an example, that I can show all visits that were started 2 hours past the Planned Start Date.

I tried to make a Key Figure comparing both start dates but only the Real Start Date is available.

I found this example : https://blogs.sap.com/2017/09/04/step-by-step-to-create-a-report-to-list-all-visits-whose-end-date-a... but is shows only the late visits of today and I need to show historical data.

Any ideas to build the data?

Can you please help us in understanding your requirement. Like when you will consider as visit is late (or overdue) ?

For example, for visit 1001. we have start date as 20th Jan 2020 and end date as 21st Jan. So under which circumstances, you will consider this visit as late.

Having said this, you can check below as well:

As per my understanding, if a visit is not closed (in open/in process status) by today, then it will be considered as late and if this is the case then you can filter data with status as open/in process and end date as less than today.

Hi saurav.kumar02, as you day we can identify all the visits that are still open, with no start or end date. But we want to identify the visits that were open late, your example with visit 1001 is correct, for us that visit is late.

A late visit is different from the open visits or in process visits, as the in process visits can be on time or late, taking into consideration that the planned start date/hour is a promise made to a customer.

Dear saurav.kumar02, to make the question more focused, is there a way to make a Key Figure that can substract the Real Start Date vs Real Start Date in a visit? And show that difference in days, hours or minutes?

Did you mean that difference between real start date and planned start date ?

If we have values available for these fields in data source as key figure then we can find the difference in days/hours/minutes.

Dear Saurav Kumar, the problem I have is that the Visit Header does not have a planned start date ratio.

And I can create a new one using the value of the field from the visit header data.

I will appreciate any guide on this.

In that case, we will request you to check with your implementation partner if there is anyway to achieve the same else raise this as a new requirement in influence forum as from support, we can not make any change in standard objects/processes.

Is strange that C4C does not have this functionality specially considering that visits have a planned start date and a real one, so if you want to know if the sales teams are executing the visits according to the plan is comparing both dates. It should be a standard feature not something we have to develop or wait the eternal cycle of the influence process.

As mentioned earlier, if its not there then we from support can not make change in standard process and which is why influence forum is in place. Its good option to get your requirements fulfilled. All you have to do is to post a new requirement and based on minimum no of upvotes, concerned team will look into this, based on criticality and effort needed, they will pass this on the development team and they will try to bring in upcoming releases.

So its worth a try and get it votes as many as possible.
