Leads of secondary individual customer record not getting added to master record

Hello,

Greetings!

Business Partner BP1 is having 2 cold leads, 1 hot lead and 1 warm lead.

Business Partner BP2 is having 1 hot converted lead.

I tried merging these two business partners BP1 and BP2 in SAP C4C selecting BP2 as master record.

Status of customer merge is 'Merge Completed - Realignment Failed'.

BP1 is marked as obsolete. However, leads of BP1 not tagged to BP2.

Could you please let me know why leads of BP1 not tagged to BP2.

A possible cause could be that an obsolete account is involved in already closed documents. Already closed documents where account cannot be changed are not handled during the merge process. It can lead to inconsistencies in the system.

You can,

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center
  2. Click on Implementation Projects
  3. Click on First Implementation
  4. Click on Edit Project Scope
  5. Go to the Questions tab
  6. Click on General Business Data
  7. Click on Business Partner
  8. Select Handling of Business Partner
  9. Select Do you want to enable enhanced document realignment during account merge?

    The enhanced transaction document realignment during Business Partner merge, allows you to realign all transaction documents from the duplicate record to the surviving record, irrespective of the document status.
