Lead Status options what is Standard

Hi Folks,

If I change the lead status to not-qualified(Renamed standard Status Declined) and save the lead, and try to edit the lead I cannot find other lead statuses other than the one I selected. Is this standard behavior.

My requirement is I should be able to view other statuses as well after selecting and saving the lead. Is this possible?

Hello Jaya,

Once the specific status is set, it can not be reverted back to all the available statuses.

For e.g. In your case, if the status is set to 'Decline' - you can reverted back to In Approval /Qualified . Maybe you can change status from 'Decline' to 'Qualified' and further put to 'Open' (depends on your requirement).

Also please refer the 'Maintain Status' within Fine-Tune activity of Leads for what all Actions can be trigger based on current Lead's status.

Thanks for the response.

For e.g. In your case, if the status is set to 'Decline' - you can be reverted back to In Approval /Qualified

But In my case, once I set the status to Decline, save and try to edit lead I can see only Declined option in the drop-down options of Status field. Also, the qualification level field is greyed out.

How to make other statuses available in the dropdown If not all at least some.
