Lead Scoring - Saving and Retention

Hi Community!

Could someone please explain how do Save and Retention Period work in the Score Builder App, more specifically where are scores saved?

I could find documentation around when the saving is done (daily at 12 pm, weekly on Sunday.. etc), but I dont understand where those scores are saved and where I can see the history of the changes within scores for certain users?

Also, how does Retention period work? What is the main purpose of this feature? I have one potential use case: what would happen if the Saving is set to monthly, but Retention period is 2 days?
