Layaway orders

How does CCO handle layaway orders where a customer wants to put aside(hold) an item and and payment in installements?

Hi Brian,

This is an issue for Ireland as well where layaways are used quite often. We had to carry out work whereby a plugin would create either a sales order or quotation as the base document for the goods required by the customer based on whether they wanted to commit stock or not and the installments were via the purchase of a voucher type with the base document reference included. A report was available which showed the remaining balance. Once paid in full the order or quote was progressed to a sales receipt and the installment vouchers used to pay.

Quite convoluted, but it works, would be much better if this was supported as standard.

Hi Brian,
installment payment is not supported in SAP CCO, the creation of installment needs to be done in SAP Business One. However there is the possibly to partially pay an Invoice.
