Landing Page Submissions - Triggering C4C Leads

Dear Experts,

We have a requirement to transfer leads to C4C that have been generated by a landing page submission. This is using the Form and Landing Page functionality within the Content Studio. Our Trigger Campaign has been set up as follows, but fails to generate leads in C4C.

1. Trigger Campaign using 'Website Visit' as the primary trigger

2. Inserted 'Create Lead' action with description and notes

3. Filter Condition (Live Target Group) based upon landing page interaction, using the specific landing form name

Is there a step we've missed, or a recommended approach to generating leads in C4C derived from SMC Landing Pages?

Hi Bradley,

Your set up should work.

An alternative approach is to just create dedicated interaction types for each landing page instead of a generic interaction type. In this case you do not need to maintain the live target group unless you want to do some additional filtering.

Our users found that this was a simpler approach.

The downside is that the number of interaction types can get pretty large and as you need to create interaction types in your test tenant first, you need to take care that you have all the interaction types you need in production before any transport freezes!

maybe that's just a coincidence but I had the same issue yesterday (using another trigger and another filter of course).

The interaction is written correctly, the application log says everything is fine but the lead was not handed over. I will do some more tests today.

Yes, I checked the campaign logs and we can see that contacts are being added or filtered out based on the target group criteria. We're also receiving the entries okay.

We also created a campaign with a dynamic target group just to check leads were hitting C4C and that worked.

So did you check the campaign logs ? is there any information regarding the execution ?
Also when you checked the segmentation with your filter conditions , are you able to get entries and only during campaign execution no leads are processed ?
