Lagging support for internationalization in hybris PCM Backoffice

Hybris PCM Backoffice uses the Solr server to optimize the Backoffice. We found out that the Solr server is not able to handle country specific languages, such as: en_US, de_DE, etc. The dynamic fields supported are only based on two digits isocodes like en, de, etc.

When a user logs in with local set to en_US and searches for a product, the search will not work properly and find no products.

Is there a timeline, when Hybris will support country specific isocodes within the PCM Backoffice out of the box? Or is this always subject to the project team to establish multi-country data locales / internationalization?
