Hello,

I have a question regarding Item Matrix in SAP Customer Checkout.

Please let me know if this can be done in SAP Customer Checkout and if not is there anyone that have done an item matrix add-on for SAP Customer Checkout.

Thank you very much in advance.

Item Matrix / SKU

  • Example: Spray Paint – Available in different colours but price is same. A dropdown menu to be available on screen beside the line item enabling user to choose different colours.
  • Example: Timber – 100 x 50 Treated Pine has various length size such as 1.5mtr, 1.8Mtr, 2.1Mtr, etc.
Prices will vary for different lengths but dimension (100 x 50) remains same.
A dropdown menu to be available on screen beside the item selected enabling user to choose different lengths.

Best Regards,
Gunther

Hello,

Not exactly what is mentioned below. However in SAP Customer Checkout we support the following 2 thing which might be helpful.

Also in point 3 I mention about existing PlugIns.

1)

When article master is maintained in SAP Customer Checkout manager, we support generic articles.

When a generic article is scanned in the sales user interface, cashier can select from a list of articles.
These different articles can have same price like the Spray Paint example or different prices like the Timber example.

2) From release 2.0 FP08 onwards, when article master is maintained in SAP Customer Checkout manager, we support characteristics and characters profile.

We do not support automatic creation of all articles based on a template article etc.

3) I am not aware of partner who have done item matrix for SAP Customer Checkout. Since the business is completely partner driven its hard to know who has developed what.

We encourage partners to share the plugin details using this blog.

In general I would also recommend to use New User Interface(Quick Service UI) for new customer projects. We have already moved majority of the functionality from old Retail UI

To quick Service UI. The missing ones will come soon. After that Retail UI will be put in maintenance mode.
