Is there any possibility to hide stadard filetrs from OWL screen only for specific roles

Hi Team,

Do we have any option to remove standard filters (My Team Opportunities, My Team Tasks, My team Visits etc) from OWL screen. I need to remove these filters only for specific role. If we disable these filters from Master Layout level, for all the roles these filters will not be visible. Kindly Advise.

Hi,

You can do this using Page Layouts. High level steps are as follow:

1. Keep your queries visible in Master Layout.

2. Create a new page layout and adjust the visibility of queries in OWL screen for this page layout.

3. Assign page layout from step 3 to Business Role which should have restricted access.

Thank you very much for your replay !!

Its resolved my Issue.

I have one more query regarding this. I want to hide "My team Attachment" query from Attachment Object. I have created new page layout as advised. But for this object already we assigned another page layout. Now how can I apply new page lay out on top of that.

Please advise.

In that, you need to create one more page layout with query "My Teams Attachment" and a new Business Role and make an new page layout assignment for it as well user assigbment to this Business role and test. Ideally this should work.

Hi Saurabh, do you know if the adapted filters are part of the layout transport? We are facing a difference between test system and production system after transporting all changes - adapted filters are not being transported and i wonder if this would be an incident.
