I would like to know if there is any impact in lowering the priority of a standard ID_Origin (LANDING PAGE) which is in use currently.

Hi Anita,

yes, Kunal is completely right it will affect the match and merge process completely.

Maybe good to udnerstand is that priority changes are only leading to changes for existing contacts if they are "touched" again. So e.g. a merge/ new import for those existing contacts is triggered.

Thanks for the quick response.

We have a requirement to set the highest priority for commerce ID origin.

Currently Landing page has highest value in place and we would like to assess the impact and lower the same and make Commerce as the highest.

Yes, of course it may have impact, based on your ID Origin Setting.

This setting is the heart of how Consumer Profiling, Segmentation and henec Campaign would behave!

By the way, why you want to lower the priority?
