In the SAP documentation (SAP Commerce Version 1905) the SOM is still supported. But:
1 . During the Milan Workshop about Sap Commerce Commerce Cloud there was only a slide about the synchronous princing and nothing about the Syncronous Order Management;
2. From the Best Practices Site: https://rapid.sap.com/bp/#/browse/search?q=Commerce%252520Cloud≤ading_products=HYB&size=50
From Sap Commerce Cloud, there’s documentation about Asynchronous Order Management, about Synchronous pricing but nothing about Synchronous Order Management
If both integration methods are supported (SOM and AOM with Synchronous pricing), which is the better solution in order to retrieve the correct price for a CART?
With the synchronous order management is possible to retrieve a lot of info that is not possible with synchronous princing. For example pricing condition or schedule line.
But with synchronous order management there’s the great problem of performance as described by the following:
https://jira.hybris.com/browse/ECP-2898
https://experts.hybris.com/questions/73190/what-is-performance-level-for-som-with-latest-hybr.html
Thanks for all,
Lamberto

Hi Lamberto,
yes, it is.
I did a setup with SAP Commerce Cloud (v2211) on CCv2 with Synchronous Order Management Integration (SOM) with S4HANA (OnPremise).
Here the SOM module: SAP S/4HANA Order Management Integration Module | SAP Help Portal
Have a look also here: CCV2 Synchronous Pricing with On Prem ERP | SAP Community
