Is it possible to setup default Feed Settings for all users in C4C

Dear Experts,

Is it possible to setup default feed settings for all users?

Actual Requirement:

We've got a lot of Feed Event Settings in SAP C4C. It might be "hard" for some users to manage them wisely.

Our idea is, that an administrator creates "default settings for the feed" and kind of "publish" them for all users.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Murugesan.

Hi Murugesan,

We have an option as "Centralized Feed Settings" under Administrator-> Common Tasks, where you can control feed settings for all users.

However, due to some technical reason this feature is not available at this moment and we are preparing a fix to address this issue. I will update you once this is fixed.

Hi Sandeep,

Thanks a lot for your quick reply. I am waiting for your update once the issue is fixed.

I have one more query related to this, once this functionality available and if I execute for all users then is there any overwrite or removal of existing feed settings which manually done by some users? or any other impact?

Appreciate your support.

Hi Murugesan,

Feed Setting configured from the option which I mentioned will be applicable for all the users who have not yet maintained their settings. This setting will not overwrite existing settings done by users.

Sandeep

We have fixed the issue and "Centralized Feed Settings" option will be available in all C4C systems by 4th June.

Sandeep
