Hi,
One of my customers wants to connect their SAS analytics tool with SAP C4C, to combine C4C data with other data they gather from various systems. I recommended to use Odata to read the relevant information from SAP C4C, but they are more familiar with ODBC connections, so they asked if it is possible to make an ODBC connections.
Does anybody have experience with this connection and how to set it up? Or has found out that it is not possible?
I would really appreciate your help/insights,
Kind Regards,
Teun van den Elzen

Hi,
Though I have used it myself, neither did I came across any of such requirements in past. However, Based on my experience I dont remember any such capability within c4c out of the box. BUT when I check on the internet I see that there exists a partner add-on, though it is not listed on SAP app Store, which offered a similar capability in past. (off course this will be paid offering on top of C4C). May be if needed, you can check with them.(Link: https://www.cdata.com/drivers/saphybris/odbc/)

Hi Saurabh,
Thank you for your response. I came accross the cdata driver as well, while searching, and was hoping there was something available out of the box right now ;).
At least good to know I didn't overlooked a standard out of the box solution.
Have a nice day!
Kind Regards,
