I am comfortable with HMC. Are there any changes in configurations to get HMC back?

No, HMC has already been deprecated in Hybris 6.6: https://help.hybris.com/6.6.0/hcd/8bb15ed586691014a948d1553f4947cf.html

The planned re-release is Q1 2018.

By 6.7, you should already be using backoffice.

hMC extension was deprecated starting with version 6.0. Please refer https://help.hybris.com/6.0.0/hcd/8bb15ed586691014a948d1553f4947cf.html . However, the extension was shipped with the hybris download and I was able to use it till version 6.4 with some configuration. I have not tried it with any other version after 6.4 and I hope the extension must have been altogether removed in version 6.7. As already mentioned in other answers to this question, I strongly recommend you to start using backoffice and I am sure you will become comfortable with it in a few days.

Some features from hmc do not exist in backoffice or smartedit. There's a way to reactivate hmc module?

You can try adding hmc extensions from a previous version:

 hmc
 platformhmc
 solrfacetsearchhmc

As usual, you need to build and update the system after adding the extensions.

Just extract the hmc extensions from a release prior to 6.7 and add them to your localextensions.xml. I can confirm that this still works in 6.7.

Could you share the required extensions you have added in the localextensions.xml for bringing back the hmc.

At least you have to add:

 <extension name="hmc" />

Additionally all extensions ending with "hmc" according to your needs (like "solrfacetsearchhmc").

That is the problem with HMC that when you get used to it backoffice feels strange 🙂 But give backoffice a chance , you will like it.
