Is it possible for a user to enter the Campaign ID in SAP Marketing cloud?

Is it possible for a user to provide the Campaign ID instead of system generated ID in SAP Marketing cloud?

We have a need that business would like to provide the Campaign ID in the Campaign screen.

Right now SAP Marketing cloud is generating a Numeric value for Campaign ID which business feels it is very inconvenient for them to identify the Campaign.

Hi,

Unfortunately, for SAP Marketing Cloud system don't allow you to change or influence the number range associated with Campaign ID.

If needed, you can create a custom field and then this field for the text/ID for identification by business team.

Ok. But is it possible to add validations to the Custom field like Unique, no space??

Yes it is possible. You can implement BADI "Check Attributes of Campaign Header" of context "Marketing: Campaign". Here you can place your validation as well as message for failed validation
