Hi, I'm currently in the middle of an implementation of SAP CARAB 2.0 SPS04 on HANA 2.0 but I'm not seeing in the installation manual anything regarding installing HANA Live except on the architecture diagram in the manual for a CARAB system Co-Deployed with a Source Master Data System, but it's not even listed in the pre-requisites.
In previous installations I have installed HANA Live on a HANA 1.0 database without any issue, when I tried to install it on HANA 2.0, it fails with the message:
[PRODUCT_VALIDATE][8] The product SAP HANA ANALYTICS FOR ERP (sap.com) [instance 1], has missing dependencies. Check product installation prerequisites
[PRODUCT_VALIDATE][8] Product instances dependency information: [sapcarsvr][HDC@HDC][19/7/2018 11:13:47][PRODUCT_VALIDATE][8] [{"installing_name":"SAP HANA ANALYTICS FOR ERP","installing_vendor":"sap.com","installing_version":"1.0","installing_instance":"1","dependent_name":"SAP NEWDB","dependent_vendor":"sap.com","dependent_version":"1.0","dependent_instance":"2","sp_interval_info":{"op":">=","version":"8"}}]
[PRODUCT_VALIDATE][8] Validation of product version failed.
I had previously checked if it was compatible with HANA 2.0 and found the SAP note 2552909 - SAP HANA Live support with SAP HANA 2.0 where it says that it is so I already loaded the required tables and schema mapping for the HANA Live installation.
So, if it's really needed for the installation of CARAB how could I install this component since the only documentation that I'm able to find is for HANA 1.0.
Thanks for your help

Request clarification before answering.
I ended up reinstalling in HANA 1.0 SPS12 and the activation passed without issues. Still didn't know how to solve the import issue in HANA 2.0

Hi Jesus ,
I am also facing the same issue , is there an alternate procedure for this ? without downgrading to HANA 1.0 . Did you check with SAP ?
