Involved Parties Replication for Installed Base in SAP Cloud for Services

Hi !

I want to replicate the involved Parites for an Installed Base from our ERP to the C4C Service.

In the Communication Scenario "Installed Base Integration" is no replication of the Involved Parties included.

So i have to use CS "Installed Base Replication from External System". I don't have any idea how to use this.

Has anyone the CS "Installed Base Replication from External System" in use?

Or does anyone replicate the involved Parties for an installed Base in a different way?

Thanks!

Josef

HI!

Thanks for your answer! But we dont' migrate the Parties. We want to replicate them from our ERP System via SOAP.

Vendor V1 is the Customer in the InstalledBase IB1 and Vendor V2 has the role Ship_to.

In the ERP (which is the leading Application) Vendor A1 is moving out and V2 is no longer the 'Ship_to Role' for IB1.

Now Vendor V3 has both roles in ERP. For the replication of the Customer Role the Service '

Manage Installed Bases (Deprecated)' works fine. But we cannot replicate the Ship_To Role with this service.

I hope, i could explain it for you ...

Hello Josef,

SAP Cloud for services has the data workbench option to import data into the C4C system. You can make use of the data workbench import individual object to import the involved parties of installed base(s). To do this select the object type as 'Installed Base Other Parties'.

Let me know if this information was useful.
