Interest not appearing in Segmentation Model

Dear All

We have created a pretty new interest in our system using "Manage Interest" and tied it to the interaction via the Landing Page.

And we are trying to create a dynamic/Live TG from the "All Contacts" profile based upon the interaction type --> item of interest.

However we do not have this interest value available as part of the Pop-up which comes when we drag and drop the "Item of Interest" attribute on the population(segment).

Please let me know why this is not appearing.

I can understand that the preview will not work since we did not have any interaction with this interest but this should work when we manually create the segment.

Hi Buddy,

You will have to enable unfiltered valuehelp in segmentation configuration app for the attribute.

I had this exact problem a couple of days ago. I couldn't find the new item of interest as an option in segmentation or in the personalization conditions within the content studio.

I then uploaded an interaction with the new item of interest to a test contact and since then I've been able to use the new interest in segmentation and conditions

as you said, since there's no interaction associated with that interest item I think this is the expected behavior. I doublechecked it in our system.

this is the behavior which I am seeing where we will be able to build a TG if we have interaction interest on the db but that would actually make our process fail until the first interaction with interest gets created.

papak80 yes that's a problem. But I'm not aware of any other way to reach that goal.

I'm not sure if it would work by modeling a custom view... But by default the way you already described is the way to go 😕

Exactly! Try uploading or using Postman to create an interaction type with this tag. Then it will be available in Segmentation.

this way would definitely work which I am aware.

However the business scenario would fail for example Trigger camp would fail since we would not be able to build the any Dyn/Live target group until the first interaction record gets created.
