Integration of yMKT Cloud with On Premise BW

Hi All,

We are looking into the options of connecting Hybris Marketing Cloud with SAP on premise BW for analytics.We will not be using SAC and would like to connect to on Premise for reporting and analytical purposes. What are the possible options to connect. Hybris marketing cloud documentation doesn't talk about the on premise connectivity of BW.

Option 1:I see SAP has released "SAP Marketing Cloud - Offline Sales Data Export" iflow for marketing to export Contact and interaction data as "CSV" file to post it to SFTP server. Can this be utilized to import the data into BW.

Option 2: Can we connect the SAP BW on premise with SAP Hyrbis marketing cloud like a ABAP connectivity. I don't see any communication scenario by standard to achieve this connectivity/

Option 3: Expose the web services for SAP BW to pull using the ODP

What would be the recommended approach and feasibility to connect the Hybris marketing cloud with On Premise BW.

Hi Praveen,

You are right, the product does support only SAC connections (live connection) to directly consume data from the application.

I have elaborated the same kind of questions in the past for customers of mine.

Option 1: This is your best shot. We have build data extractors in the past to achieve the same by leveraging the existing OData API from Marketing. If you use files in between, you still need to stage the data in BW to make it work.

Option 2: Not supported.

Option 3: This will be technically a challenge and most likely not feasible at all. The load would be to high and most likely the calls to complex to get all needed data into BW.

Can we connect the CDS analytics views to generate OData Services that can be consumed by BW.?

Hey Anton,

We have a SAP BW/4HANA on prem, that we would like to get the master data of the consumers into SAP Marketing Cloud. What would be your recommendation ?, Is this connection too demanding ?.

Should we instead look for others sources ?
