Hi,
I am trying to send trigger based emails from our SAP Marketing Cloud system with products of the triggering events.
We have successful connected our SAP Commerce (on premise) to send different Clickstream events on user actions to the SAP Marketing Cloud. One of these events is the "SHOP_ITEM_VIEW" event, which will be sent, if customers view the details page of a shop product. On the customers/contacts view in the Marketing Cloud I can see these events including the viewed product.
Our plan was to create a trigger based campaign on these events and sending emails including the viewed products.
E.g. "Dear Customer, your have looked at product XY, ....", followed by some product information we synchronized from our Commerce to the Marketing Cloud.
What I did:
The problem:
As far as I can see, the generation of the email doesn't has access to the product given by the event.
I know this functionality should be given, because we also have a trigger based campaign for abandoned carts, wich is a standard scenario in trigger based campaigns.

Hi t_mittag. I did some research and you can send product information from the interaction using the segmentation profile "All Interactions", in the settings of Content Studio.
I used the personalization attribute DA-_SAP_CF_SAP_CE_INTERACTIONS-IA_PRODUCT_NAME. You can search "Product Name" under "Interactions" group, in the Personalization Attributes when you Insert Attribute:

From my tests, SAP Marketing only includes the information of the last product from the interaction. Example: you have a sales order with two products. Your client will receive the name of the second product.

It took me a while to find the Personalization settings in the content studio app.
For furthher reader: It's only possible to change the personalization on un-published e-mails.
