In what context to create custom fields for the relationship of the contact with the company account

Hi everyone!

I have a query: I have created the custom field (denominacion de puesto de trabajo, see image 1) that corresponds to the relationship between contact and company account. I have created it in the business context: Marketing: Contact and company account; however, in the SOAP service it only indicates LeadReplicationRequest_out (as seen in image 2).

And when creating it there, it was automatically created in Master Data: Business Partner and in SOAP there is no API that corresponds to the relationship service, which I imagine should be something like: businesspartnerrelationshipsu

Does anyone know in which business context, I must create it to correspond to the service of the relationship between company account and contact?

Hello Carla,

Currently, from the SAP Standard software delivery perspective, the Business Partner Relationship SOA service is not extensible via the Key user extensibility.

Hi Ankush, and how can I add a field within the contact with account relationship? Because I would need to create a field: Job title (see first image lines above) and that is a field within the relationship. Or is there a standard field in Marketing Cloud for job title? Please confirm. Thank you!

Hello Carla,

If you add a custom field in the Marketing cloud, it would correspond to LeadReplicationRequest_out. Business Partner SOA service would not get the extension in this case. If you wish to enhance the Business Partner/Relationship SOA service, you must add the custom fields from the 'Manage Business Partner' Fiori App. The contexts are defined for specific applications.

Now coming to your point, from the Business Partner Master data perspective in S/4HANA Cloud there is the field 'Function' in the contact person relationship data which might be of interest to you. The purpose of this field is to specify the function that a contact person performs in the organization. See the image.

Kindly check which field in the Marketing Cloud is mapped to the 'Function' (BUT051-PAFKT) while you transfer the data.

thanks Ankush! but the integration is from C4C to Marketing Cloud, so I need the c4c field "job title", which is within the relationship, to migrate to that field in Marketing Cloud. So my question is: in which business context would I have to create it so that it is displayed in the account - company relationship?

If you know a solution, please let me know.
