Also, remember the UI does not refresh automatically after initializing the full index You might have to change the perspective (e.g. switch to Administration cockpit, access catalog there and come back to product cockpit). Now, if you select the catalog here, you will be able to see products on the right side. If you still see the orange coloured bar, just close it by clicking the X button on the right end of the bar.
