We are using cuan_import_srv to upload contact data in to the on-prem hybris Marketing since version 1511 . Now we are having version 1709 SP01 and it seems that process has lately changed. Maybe since this version, maybe from earlier, not sure.
The point is that we call the service and don't get data updated in CUAND* tables directly. It seems that first it is stored somewhere and then there is a system process, which is taking this data and uploading in the CUAND* tables.
Is this process somewhere described?

Hi Maris,
in particular you are talking about the "new" staging area.
This means e.g. the contacts are loaded first in this staging area and then later on taken from there to the upload.
See the below screenshot from the link Kunal provided.
As you can see in the screenshot you can set a flag to force synchronous processing.
Can you flag this questions as answered if everything is OK?

Would be nice to get some documentation about the process though - I have update requests sitting in the "In process" status for a long time and I have no idea why and when they will be processed.
