Image Is showing as URL in abandoned Cart Email Mkt Cloud

Hi Experts,

We have loaded some products from commerce and now those products are coming in the abandoned cart . In the mails we are receiving for abandoned cart the product image is coming as URL rather then full image . Please let me know , if any setatings i need to do in MKT.

Hi Rashmi,

May be I sound stupid but from your snapshot it looks like you have chosen "Insert Attribute" instead of "Insert Image" option. Whenever you choose "Insert image" then some "bad" image icon should appear as shown.

Can you please double check your email template and confirm that you have chosen ""Insert attribute" option?

Hi Saurabh,

It will be abandoned cart image . I dont have any specific image that needs to embedded . Whenever there will be any products coming as abandoned cart , those images should come . As per my knowledge the images of product are generally stored by commerce in some public folder Those product images link are then there at the image URL attribute of a product coming from commerce . Now when a abandoned cart is triggered the products coming from commerce will be there and the image should show in the mail that i am getting . But instead of that its showing link.

Hi Rashmi,

Actually what Saurabh is indicating is that you can use the same attribute "Product Image" in two ways:

- if you use "insert attribute" to insert "Product Image" field, it will always be entered in Text format in your mail

- if you use "insert image" and then choose the "Product Image" attribute in the "personalized source" field of the image, then it will be entered in Image format in your mail.

Hi Kunal ,

I have not designed any templates . For testing i just drag and drop the abandoned cart block into my mail . I selected the attributes product image , name and executed the abandoned cart campaign .

When there is any abandoned cart , In my email i am receiving the product name but in case of image its only coming as product link .

As we know the product have some attributes like product image URL, navigation URL . Its expectation that whenever there is any abandoned cart the mail should contain image rather then link of the image .

Please let em know if its not clear.

Check email html, maybe that will help you somehow to identify how URL is inserted in to it and why it does not work as a URL
