Hybris marketing: Unable to reduce the custom field length, is there a way?

Hi Team,

By mistake we have given incorrect length for some custom fields, we are able to increase it but system is not allowing to decrease the length, is there a way to decrease the custom field length from our side, or only SAP can do it at their back end?

Hello Sajin,

No, it's not possible as it's an incompatible change.

It's also not possible to do it from backend as well, just to clarify!

Please create a new field and use.
