I am following the tutorial on Data Hub on

https://help.hybris.com/1811/hcd/fe6553ac1a3e4c23bd3c5632f9e5ca70.html

I have recreated the steps several times from scratch.

But no matter what I do, the step where Configure Data Hub for a test environment
https://help.hybris.com/1811/hcd/393d38366f4140d8ad78373708ad96a4.html

I have setup tomcat, I have started tomcat, I have the Data Hub deployed inside Tomcat from the hybris/bin/ext-integrations/..

But I always get curl -G https://localhost:8005/datahub-webapp/v1/version curl: (35) TCP connection reset by peer

or

curl -G https://localhost:8443/datahub-webapp/v1/version curl: (7) Failed to connect to localhost port 8443: Connection refused

That makes sense, I will dig deeper into configuring the ssl certificate. I did try port 8443 at first, and then looked around on Google search for other examples, one used 8005. But I do not have Data Hub configured to use port 8005, so I was surprised that it gave me the same response. I was expecting it to give me another error.

What port configurations do you use? I see two ports hit - 8005 and 8443 and both are https - is it really so? Could it be 8005 port should be http?

Second request to port 8443 fails and most likely because the ssl certificate is misconfigured/not trusted. It's hard to give a specific advice because many things can go wrong with https configuration
