Hello SAP experts,
we are creating and publishing Landingpages via SAP Marketing Cloud. In the settings of the published landingpage we see the URL in the section “Publishing Information”. Instead of using this "https://smc-lp.s4hana.ondemand.com/..."-Domain, our customer would like to use his own subdomain for this landingpage.
For this scenario we found the following SAP documentation:
https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_MARKETING_CLOUD/ac1eab4c66bc490da7ac2c378c46b0e7/7de38c63de2644138ca25... (see Part “Landing Page Publication”)
This part explains that we have to navigate to our CDN provider console and enter the repository domain name, copy the configured CDN domain name from the console and enter the configured CDN domain name into the corresponding field in the SAP Marketing Cloud.
Now we have the following questions:
Is a CDN necessary to use own subdomains for SAP Landingpages? Which alternative options do we have, when there is no CDN provider console that we have access to.
Is it possible that our customer uses the CNAME of the SAP Landingpage to configure the DNS Record? If this is possible: How can I receive the CNAME of the SAP Landingpage?
We do not want to embed the Landingpage as iFrame into the customers subdomain because of the graphic limitations, that this alternative would entail.
Kind regards
Sören

Hello Sören,
sub domains of our domain are not allowed. In principle, you have the following options for offering your own domain:
Downloading the form and hosting it on an own server
Integrating our landing page as an iFrame
Use of own CDN

Hello Andreas,
thank you for the support. I would like to evaluate the first option of downloading the form and hosting it on an own server. Do you have a link for an explanation or informations how this option works in detail?
For the other two options I have already found the following informations:
Integrating our landing page as an iFrame:
https://blogs.sap.com/2021/05/05/embed-landing-pages-in-your-first-party-company-page-with-iframes/
Use of own CDN:

Thank you and kind regards

Hello Andreas,
Probably we are going to choose the option "Use of own CDN". Just to be sure:
Our current SAP repository domain will be then replaced by the CDN domain name that we saved in the Content Repository Configuration App, right?
And there is no possibillity to use more than one CDN domain name. Can you confirm this?
Thank you and kind regards
Sören
Hello Sören,
yes the configuration has to be done in the app "Content Repository Configuration" and you can maintain only one domain.
Best regards
