How to set up different language for screen set or hosted page

Hi All,

Need help here.

We have a requirement where we need to set up registration screen based on different country and different language.

Please let me know can we set up different hosted page for each language or there is any option where we can create one screen and create for multiple language and multiple URL also.

Hi Swapnil

For setting up registration screens based on different countries and languages you can use the "localization" tab present in the screenset editor where you can add different locales(languages) according to your need and download the CSV file where you can edit the translations of the default screenset data and try to import it again.

Hi samuel.yang I think we are having a similar challenge as Swapnil. We have uploaded our danish translations correctly however on the screenset itself, there are only 4 options to switch the language (French, Spanish, English and Swedish).

Once you've added a locale in the localisation tab and uploaded the translations, how do you add the option on the screenset to allow a user to switch to Danish?

I have attached a screen-shot of the current options we have.

Thanks for input.

Just wanted to know once we set locales how registration URL will change to required language. Is anything more we need to do in setting.

For e.g registration url is unique how it change to other language and on which basis it will change or there will be aby trigger point for language change.

Hi Swapnil

You can only prepare the screens as per the added locale, the URL configuration could be done from the website level. For a quick check, if you will change your browser language and you are trying to use showScreenset call, your CDC screen will show up in that locale only. Remember whatever language you are changing in the browser you should have already set up the translations in localization for that screen in CDC.

Hi Devyansh,

I have uploaded csv file with changed local and try to run hosted page url. Still not showing expected result.

Apart from local file import any other place is there where i need to write code or anything.

Please help on this.
