Dear SAP community,
we asked ourselves if it´s possible to send out e-mails with high priority from a campaign with type e-mail in marketing cloud. In system we only found the priority setting for the campaigns itself, but e-mails don´t have a priority option.
Do you know if it´s possible? And what is if we mark a campaign with priority "high"? Will there any workflow started in the system or is that priority field only intended for display purposes to seperate campaigs considering of the different priorities and no further actions were taken from the system?

they are right it is not possible out of the box.
But if you are ready to invest some more time you can go via Generic Email Integration and use CPI to change this

Problem what I see that you also have to double check with your email provider if they support high priority emails. For SINCH I'm e.g. not sure if this is possible... A quick check in the docu showed my nothing related to priority

as per my knowledge this is not possible.
So, yes this field is intended only for sorting and filtering in Marketing Cloud and could not be used in workflows.
But if you have e.g. a C4C connected and campaign is replicated to C4C, this field should be available in the outgoing payload and could be used on CPI (for implementing any logic).

lukaswissing1 sorry, my bad.
Just checked a payload from MC to C4C when Campaign is replicated. But the field is not available there. It is only the CampaignLifeCycleStatusCode but not the priority.
Think if you need that field for other usage (e.g. workflows) you should open an improvement request.

thanks for your answer. We found out, that the campaign priority could be used if you have active communication limits in the marketing cloud.
